Shibori indigo dyed silk scarf, designed using an ancient Japanese folded technique and dyed with natural indigo dye. This organic stripe pattern reminds one of reflections and the colour tones vary throughout the piece.
Each scarf in this range varies slightly but has the same subtle stripe theme. Because indigo dyeing is a living, natural and spontaneous process it produces amazing variations within the same dyeing vat!

Scarf measures: 180cm x 28cm (70.8" x 11")
It may be hand washed with gentle detergent in warm water and line dried - do not soak.  Indigo scarves are entirely handmade in my small outdoor studio in tropical Australia.
